Brits have been warned 'going on holiday is illegal' in a stark new advertising campaign as influencers continue to feel the heat for jetting off to Dubai.
New adverts shared by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office appeared to target influencers in a tweet which said: 'Get Followers, Get a tan, Get the virus.' "If you travel illegally you risk the lives of your family and friends.
Stay at home. Save lives." Foreign Office officials said the ads featuring flip flops and suitcases are intended to 'remind people that travelling abroad is against the law'.
The adverts come after Home Secretary Priti Patel claimed there were "still too many people coming in and out of the country each day.
