GOOGLEBOX'S Lee and Jenny have landed a £20k deal for a new car advert - and shared their payday with their co-stars. The stars of the hit C4 show are picking up £10,000 apiece for the show’s new tie-in with car giant Citroen motors.

Just four sets of armchair telly critics from Gogglebox will appear in the ads for the French car maker’s new electric vehicles.

But their cash has been shared out equally with all the show’s participants to avoid rows. Citroën’s new campaign sees the show’s popular armchair critics Jenny and Lee from Hull, Giles and Mary from Wiltshire, Marcus and Mica from South London, and Pete and Sophie from Blackpool, comment on the brand’s ë-C4 electric vehicle in its new advert.
