Susanna Reid

Susanna Victoria Reid (born 10 December 1970) is an English television presenter and journalist. Reid was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast from 2003 until 2014, along with Bill Turnbull and Charlie Stayt.

She has been a co-anchor of Good Morning Britain since 2014, and currently presents the programme alongside Piers Morgan and Ben Shephard.

She finished as a runner-up on the eleventh series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2013. She also presented Sunday Morning Live on BBC and Save Money: Good Food on ITV.

GMB viewers issue plea to ITV bosses about Kate Garraway over Queen coverage

Kate Garraway was flooded with praise after her royal coverage on Good Morning Britain.The presenter, 55, took the reigns on the first ever Sunday episode of the ITV daytime show despite normally hosting it on weekdays.ITV underwent a major format change over the weekend following the death of the Queen, who passed away aged 96 at her Balmoral estate on Thursday (September 8).READ MORE: GMB's Laura Tobin heartbroken at ITV colleague's death as she pays sweet tributeThe broadcaster decided to bring in its weekday presenters such as Kate, Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard to cover the historic royal event.GMB usually airs 6am until 9am Monday to Friday, but ITV altered their schedule to allow special broadcasts on both Saturday and Sunday.Ben and Susanna anchored Saturday's show, with Kate appearing from Buckingham Palace as mourners paid their respects to the monarch.But Kate hosted the Sunday show alone and chatted to various guests about the grieving royal family, including royal photographer Chris Jackson and royal commentator Emily Andrews.Asked what she thought about the Prince William and Harry's reunion, seen at Windsor on Saturday afternoon, Emily said: "I thought it was incredible for William and Harry to come out and be so assured and to meet the public and to share in their grief, because one does have to wonder as well whether this might bring back memories of the death of their mother."Kate replied: "I was wondering that, there’s potential triggering isn’t there?

The rawness of that grief for whom William said in his statement, the Queen was absolutely there with him through those darkest days.
