Good Morning Britain host Richard Madeley has caused a stir with viewers after making an "inappropriate" joke regarding the Ukrainian war.

On Wednesday (March 9), Richard caused a stir with fans and received a tonne of backlash after he made an awkward joke about the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The hosts' joke came after the news that McDonald’s, Starbucks and Coca Cola had all confirmed that they would stop trading in Russia due to the current war on Ukraine.
