Good Morning Britain presenter Richard Madeley took a brutal swipe at Prince Harry and his acting skills as he returned to the ITV show on Tuesday.
In the advert, Prince Harry was filmed going for a run where he is ambushed by "rating agents" and engages in an awkward conversation by them before being rescued. He was joined by actors Rhys Darby, Dave Fane and Rena Owen, and his acting skills were soon analysed by Madeley on air.He said to Susanna: "This Prince Harry video.
Shall we see a bit more? This is not going to get him a Bafta."After they played a clip of the advert, Richard added: "I think this headline sums it up: 'The Oscar for more toe-curling acting goes to Prince Hammy.'"It is dreadful, isn’t it?
How did they even let that out?"Susanna quickly chimed in as she told Richard: "He’s promoting something which is green and eco-conscious and really important, which is how it’s not just promoting travel companies and what they’re doing to save the environment."She added: "It’s all about rating travellers and as you heard from that, it got the point across!"I understand exactly what he’s saying.
