Good Morning Britain star Dr Hilary Jones has shared his concerns about the return of packed festivals and the re-opening of nightclubs this summer, ahead of coronavirus lockdown restrictions being lifted across the country.
He revealed that while many were relying on the vaccine protecting them in large crowds, it was important to remember they are not 100 percent effective.
He also warned of other variants and strains of Covid possibly being resistant to the vaccines, and urged people to take caution.
Hosts Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard asked for his view on festivals going ahead, following the news that Reading and Leeds 2021 will go ahead this summer.
