dailystar.co.ukBen Shephard opened up on Good Morning Britain telling viewers he'd "been in tears".Kate Garraway, 54, and Ben, 46, had tuned in to watch sailors Dylan Fletcher and Stuart Bithell win the gold medal at the 2020 Olympics in the Men's 49er.Having watched the duo marginally scoop up the win, Ben explained that his emotions ran high.He said: "I've already been in tears this morning."An unsympathetic Kate joked: "And for once it wasn't my fault."The Tipping Point host explained that the team GB sailing duo took home the gold by just "centimetres" as he shared just how close their win had been.Later on in the programme Ben explained that his "nerves" had been "shredded" by the intense heats.He "couldn't cope" with the excitement as he explained.
