GMB host Ranvir Singh fires back at co-star Ben Shephard after comedy remark
dailystar.co.ukGood Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh hit out at her co-star Ben Shephard after he forgot to name any female stars in his list of top UK comics.On Thursday's show (March 10), Ranvir and Ben welcomed on British comedian Romesh Ranganathan who has joined forces with other stars to perform at the Apollo in aid of the Ukrainian Humanitarian appeal.When chatting to Romesh about his upcoming show, Ben said: "I kind of like the idea you, Rob Beckett, Alan Carr, Joel Dommett all getting together..."Ranvir then quipped: "In the cabinet."Ben continued: "And all looking like Dad's Army."Ranvir let him finish his point, then turned to him and snapped: "Where are the women at?"Ben then nodded and said: "Yeah, Ellie Taylor as well."This comes after fellow GMB host Richard Madeley caused a stir with fans of the show after making an "inappropriate" joke to do with the Ukrainian war.On Wednesday (March 9), Richard received a tonne of backlash after he made an awkward joke about the Russian invasion.
The hosts' joke came as McDonald’s, Starbucks and Coca Cola had all confirmed they would stop trading in Russia due to the current war situation.
