THE BBC made a catastrophic blunder this weekend after mistaking presenter Jo Whiley for someone else while broadcasting Glastonbury Festival.
The iconic music event opened its gates on Wednesday afternoon for its 52nd year, with hundreds of music fans gearing up for a wild weekend of performances.
For the thousands of people unlucky enough not to bag a ticket, they have been left glued to their seats at home instead, with the BBC covering proceedings.
Tasked with presenting the five-day festival are the likes of Jo Whiley, Lauren Laverne, Jack Saunders and Clara Amfo. After performances from some of the best acts in music including Sam Fender, Billie Eilish and Diana Ross, the presenters were quick to comment on them.
