Glasgow cops cordon off street after reports of ‘assault’ with man arrested and charged

Enquiries were carried out by officers and a 51-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident. He is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.35pm on Friday, 18 June, officers were called to Aikenhead Road in Glasgow, following a report of an assault.“A 51-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
