"haunted" city centre hotel, where a spirit allegedly called one of them "a b****."They also claim they could smell rotten meat and heard gunshots in the terrifying encounter.Jessica Sims, 22, and Ellie-May Ramsey, 19, from the Isle of Man travelled to Liverpool on January 9, 2022, and stayed at the Adelphi Hotel, after they saw reports of ghost hunters staying there and being sworn at by spirits. From the get-go the pair, who run a YouTube Channel called Jess and Ellie, said the hotel "didn't feel right" and they kept "feeling people going through them".Jess told the Liverpool Echo "We checked out the room and one of the first things we noticed is that it kept going from really warm to really cold.

There were points where we would both just shiver and get goosebumps for no reason."There was also a gunshot going through the window from the inside, which was creepy."The girls then decided to go and walk around the hotel with a spirit box and EMF reader to see if they could communicate with spirits. They experienced shadows, dramatic temperature change, and the smell of raw meat, they said.

Jess said: "I have looked it up since then and a smell of rotten meat is to do with poltergeists and demons, it was frightening.

I couldn't stop thinking about the smell for days."Ellie and Jess also said they felt frightened when they were near the elevators and "legged it" away from the area when they heard the lift move but never saw the doors open. But things reached a strange point when, the girls say, a spirit called one of them "a b****."Once back at the room they used the spirit box to speak to ghosts within the room and said they were "shocked" when a male spirit replied saying "you b***h".Jess asked the spirits if they would like.
