Joe Otterson TV ReporterParamount Plus is building out the cast of the upcoming series “The Offer,” which tells the story of the making of “The Godfather,” with the additions of  Giovanni Ribisi, Colin Hanks, and Dan Fogler.The trio join previously announced stars Miles Teller and Matthew Goode. “The Offer” is based on the experience of Oscar-winning producer Albert S.

Ruddy (Teller), about the behind-the-scenes events of the original 1972 film. Goode will play producer Robert Evans.Ribisi is set to star as mob boss Joe Colombo.

In addition to running one of the notorious Five Families of the American Mafia, Colombo also founded the Italian-American Civil Rights League.
