The Crown was the runaway hit at Sunday night's Golden Globes. As well as taking home the top prize for Best Drama Series, Best Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series (Josh O'Connor) and Best Performance by an Actress in a Drama Series (Emma Corrin), Gillian Anderson also bagged the award for Best Supporting Actress.
But it was Gillian's speech - and more specifically her accent - that really caught viewers' attention at home. Despite being born in the US, the actor has played a range of British characters over the years, including her recent portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in the royal drama.
