Jelena Noura "Gigi" Hadid (born April 23, 1995) is an American fashion model.
She signed to IMG Models in 2013. In November 2014, Hadid made her debut in the Top 50 Models ranking at Models.com. In 2016, she was named International Model of the Year by the British Fashion Council. Over the span of four years, Hadid has made 35 appearances on international Vogue magazine covers.

Hadid’s 62. 9 million social media followers were quick to notice that the model, 25 - who shares her daughter with boyfriend One Direction star Zayn Malik - changed her Instagram bio on Thursday night to read "Khai’s mom".
According to a name origin website, Khai - which is already trending on Twitter - is of Egyptian descent and means "the chosen one" and "royalty or nobility".
The name also closely resembles Hadid’s sister, Bella’s, middle name, Khair. Hadid’s Instagram post this week also revealed that they welcomed their daughter on 20 September, three days before the couple made the public announcement.
