Gerwyn Price and Adrian Lewis clashed over an apparent "fat" jibe at the Czech Darts Open.Two-time world champion Lewis, 37, sent the Iceman crashing out with a surprise 6-3 win in the second round.
Jackpot went to hug Price from behind after the match, but the Welshman didn't take very kindly to it. Price, 37, removed Lewis' hands from around his waist, prompting the Stoke thrower to have a couple of words with his opponent.
Everything then appeared to cool down before Lewis went in again with more verbals. But his time, Price bit back as Lewis went to talk into the Iceman's ear.
The pair exchanged words as Price started walking off the stage. But the world no.2 only got a few steps before turning around and having it out with Lewis once again, prompting referee Russ Bray to intervene.Bray stepped between the warring duo and encouraged a furious Price to walk away as Lewis celebrated his victory with the Czech Republic crowd.Speaking afterwards, Lewis accused Price of calling him "fat" but attempted to play down the incident. "I don't know what that was about at the end but he had a go at me for some reason, calling me 'fat something'.
