German football's closed-door restart blow as 10 positive cases found in Bundesliga

Tests conducted in the top two divisions of German football have returned 10 positive cases of COVID-19.Clubs are currently in training ahead of a planned restart with no fans present later this month.

But any return to competitive action must be approved by chancellor Angela Merkel and the German government - with a decision due on Wednesday.

Cologne, who sit 10th in the Bundesliga, announced they discovered three cases of coronavirus at the club last week. A second round of testing at the club revealed no further positive tests and the trio are currently in quarantine for 14 days.
