Eamonn Holmes shares one of the 'consolations' of joining GB News after This Morning exit
Eamonn Holmes, 62, has had numerous TV jobs that have required very early starts, and now he's back to the grind of being out and about before 5am.The former This Morning star, joined GB News last month to present their new breakfast show, Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel [Webster], but it means leaving the house at an ungodly hour to rush to the studio.But Eamonn reassured viewers it's not all bad!The presenter, who has had a tough year battling chronic pain after slipping a disk, revealed one of the "consolations" of his new job's hours, and it's one many would probably be envious of on their journey to work.Taking to Instagram, Eamonn shared a video of his car ride, showing absolutely no traffic on the roads whatsoever.A post shared by Eamonn Holmes OBE (@eamonnholmes)The channel's office headquarters are at Riverbank House in London.It has a number of studios at The Point building in the Paddington Basin area of the city.He captained his somewhat relaxing post: "One of the consolations of early starts..."Empty Roads. Good Morning."And with the capital's traffic as bad as it is, Londoners can only dream of Eamonn's stress-free journey in.Upon joining the team, it's been nothing short of success for the presenter.And he was even more ecstatic after reading the positive comments he received about his "chemistry" with co-host Isabel.Taking to Twitter recently, following their weekday morning show, Eamonn was delighted with the reaction.One fan penned a loving message to them both, saying: "@EamonnHolmes @IsabelWebster_ The show is getting better week by week."The chemistry between you, too, is excellent.
