George Clooney reflects on 2018 motorcycle crash that almost killed him: ‘For some people, it’s just going to be entertainment’
metro.co.ukGeorge Clooney suffered an almost fatal motorcycle accident in Italy back in 2018.In an interview with The Sunday Times, the actor shared details on the crash and how he thought it was the ‘last minute of his life.’Back in 2018, the Hollywood legend was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Sardinia, where he was filming Catch 22.The 60-year-old was launched from his bike, over the handlebars and into the windscreen of a white Mercedes, which had turned in front of him.The driver called the emergency services and police, an ambulance and fire department arrived at the scene, where George lay groggy and screaming.But, he realised a crowd was gathering while the actor was on the ground.George has called out the bystanders for filming.
