Foden netted the winning goal for City in their 2-1 quarter-final second-leg win over Borussia Dortmund, having done the same in the first leg to give them a 4-2 victory on aggregate.
His Twitter activity post-match set tongues wagging as, just minutes after the final whistle, Foden's account tagged PSG star Mbappe with the message 'are you ready' as thoughts turned to what will be an eagerly-anticipated semi-final.
