Gary Neville brands La Liga "corrupt" and laughs off their Kylian Mbappe complaints
dailystar.co.ukManchester United legend Gary Neville responded to La Liga’s complaint over Kylian Mbappe’s new Paris Saint-Germain deal by branding the Spanish division as “corrupt as the rest”.Mbappe stunned the footballing world by signing a lucrative three year deal that will see him receive a £110million signing on fee and £20m-a-year after tax in wages, according to Sky Sports.
The World Cup winner appeared to be on his way to Real Madrid at the end of the current campaign, and his u-turn has infuriated the 13-time European champions.So much so that La Liga released a statement clarifying their desire to file a complaint about the way in which PSG retained Mbappe against all odds.
And this news appeared to amuse Neville, who responded to their intention on Twitter.“La Liga can do one!” Neville posted on social media. “As corrupt as the rest!” ConsiderIn their statement, La Liga described Mbappe’s new contract as a "scandalous" deal which "attacks the economic sustainability of European football".
