He is also accused of common assault of her younger sister, Emma Greville, at his home in Worsley, Greater Manchester, on 1 November 2020.Giggs - the former Wales star and team manager "deliberately headbutted" his ex-girlfriend, the court heard today.The trial was scheduled for January, but it was pushed back to August due to a backlog of cases.
Giggs has pleaded not guilty to all charges.Monday was the beginning of a ten-day trial, and the jury have now learnt that Ferguson and Neville may be used as part of the evidence.
The jury have also been told of the three counts being held against Giggs, on both Kate and Emma Greville.Count one is a charge of controlling or coercive behaviour towards Kate between August 31, 2017 and November 2, 2020.
