Liverpool Echo reports.Sam was killed in Lavrock Bank, Dingle, on August 16. Ashley lost her life in her own garden on Leinster Road, Old Swan on August 21.

Olivia was slain on Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot, on August 22 as a suspected gangland dispute spilled into her home. Investigations into all three are ongoing, and despite media attention mostly focused on the death of Olivia the crackdown comes as a response to all three.Merseyside Police's efforts are being supported by external police departments in an attempt to crack down on crime, with vans and equipment from Lancashire, Cumbria and Cheshire police services all having been spotted.Merseyside's head of investigations, Detective Chief Superintendent Mark Kameen discussed the kinds of numbers involved in the police response to the bloody month. He said at the time that, based on “information from communities”, 88 warrants had been executed and 349 arrests made.He added that 75 open land searches were carried out as were 942 stop searches. He said: "I have already talked about the pace of the investigation itself, but now I want to update you on the commitment of the Force in its relentless targeting of those involved in serious and organised crime."What we now know is that those involved in serious and organised crime are being significantly disrupted and are fed up and frustrated by the increased policing activity.“We are making these areas toxic to those who commit crime, and we know they don’t like it.

However, we make no apology for that. I said we would bare our teeth and that is precisely what we are doing."Police are still investigating Olivia's murder and earlier this week released footage of the fleeing gunman after Olivia's murder.
