Fyre Festival has announced the dates, location and tickets for its “real return” this year – find out more below.In 2017, Fyre Festival took the world by storm – not for its line-up and success, but for the infamously botched planning and fan experiences that resulted in several lawsuits and documentaries.After years of founder Billy McFarland teasing that the festival would return this year, its comeback has now been confirmed, with Fyre Festival and McFarland taking to social media to announce key details.Built around the tagline “Fyre Festival 2 is real”, McFarland and Fyre Festival have confirmed that its second attempt will take place between May 30 and June 2 at Isla Mujeres in Mexico.
Tickets are now on sale between US$1,400 and a whopping $1.1million for an eight-pax package.The festival is described as a “three-day escape to the Mexican Caribbean where you’ll explore by day alongside your favourite talent and come together at night to celebrate with music”.Fyre Festival 2 also claims that it will feature “adventures led by international and local talent, taking guests on boundary-pushing excursions by day and uniting for intimate beach-side performances at night”.
