Future king Prince George to take new role aged 8 to help 'emotional' Queen

Her Majesty the Queen celebrates her Platinum Jubilee this year, becoming the first British monarch to sit on the throne for 70 years.But while the Royal Family will be looking back at an extraordinary reign, they will also be showcasing future generations.And Prince George, at the tender age of eight, will be taking a major part in proceedings.The future king will help his parents, William and Kate, offer support to the 95-year old monarch.“I think we’re going to see Her Majesty’s grandchildren really step up this year and her great grandchildren, especially George, will be up front and heavily involved in the celebrations,” royal author Nigel Cawthorne told OK!
