A furious restaurant owner clashed with Kate Garraway over "blaming" the hospitality industry for coronavirus spikes as a debate turned heated on Good Morning Britain today.
London restaurant owner Andy Jones appeared on GMB alongside Dr Amir Khan and Professor Susan Michie to discuss whether a national circuit-breaker was needed.
Speaking to hosts Kate and Ranvir Singh, Andy warned that restrictions such as the 10pm curfew, tier two restrictions and suggestions to close restaurants and bars was "wiping out" so many businesses and jobs.
He also pointed out that there was no spike in July when bars, restaurants and pubs were allowed to re-open and that the hospitality industry was being "blamed all the time".
