Furious manager defends staff from rude customer who said their 'nut roast was from 90s'

LancsLive, the customer paid a visit to Maxy Farm Pantry and Restaurant recently, but was unsatisfied with their experience, taking to Trip Advisor to leave a scathing write-up.

The reviewer stated that when she and her party of six attended the restaurant for Sunday lunch, they were advised that there would only be roast dinners available. She wrote: "The ONLY dish available for non-meat eaters is a Nut Roast which was vile at £15. Note to chef as vegetarians we don't eat Nut Roast as its no longer the 90’s. "It would be an idea to get a little more creative and not just have the one very unappealing option without any other choice.” The disgruntled diner then went on to slam the restaurant for charging full price for a small portion and the staff’s perceived lack of cooperation.

They wrote: "Elderly mother ordered a children’s portion of chicken and asked if it could be sliced off the bone for her as she had arthritis in her fingers and found it difficult to use a knife and fork especially for stripping chicken off the bone. "The message back from chef was ‘no she was far too busy, someone else in the party would have to do it...Oh that will be the vegetarian then will it...
