Lorraine Kelly furiously lashed out at government scientist for "undermining" lockdown, branding him "arrogant". Prof Neil Ferguson resigned from his role as a government adviser after admitting that he had broken his own lockdown rules.
It was reported by The Telegraph that Prof Ferguson, who advised the prime minister on the UK lockdown, was visited by a woman he was in a relationship with during lockdown.
Addressing the controversy on Good Morning Britain today, Lorraine said: "I'll be honest, I don't care who he sleeps with, it bothers me not a jot.
He can do whatever he likes. "But no - not when he's telling the rest of us! Not when the rest of us haven't seen our family and friends and we're all suffering. "It's so arrogant!
