A furious homeowner said she has considered moving house as the construction of a new Aldi store next to her property is "unbearable".
Fiona Colquhoun, 52, lives just 10 metres away from the supermarket with her husband Tom, 54. They expressed their concerns and objected to the planning permission, but the project was given the go-ahead and is now under way, Teesside Live reports.
Fiona says she has been unable to sit in her garden due to the noise from the construction site and dirt is constantly blown onto their property.
She also fears the corrugated sheets placed on the back of the store could decrease the value of her home, in which she has lived for 24 years.
