Arsenal are expected to announce the loan signing of Real Madrid attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard in the next few days. The 22-year-old Norwegian international has made just seven La Liga appearances so far this season and will join the Gunners until the end of the season in search of valuable regular first-team minutes.
The deal could prove something of a coup for Arsenal given the fact that Odegaard was at one stage considered one of the most highly sought-after young prospects in Europe.
And according to Spanish outlet El Confidencial they have not exactly had to splash the cash in order to land the player either.
