Ian Evatt believed his side mounted a comeback against a 'team of bullies' in the form of Gillingham and that Bolton Wanderers made their momentum in the second half pay dividends.

Wanderers fell behind in the first half after John Akinde put the Gills ahead, before Kyle Dempsey doubled the visitors' advantage shortly afterwards.

Bolton were booed off at the break, but fought back after half-time as Dapo Afolayan halved the deficit as full-time approached as part of a second half comeback.
