Frogs get married in ritual to 'bring in rain' after dry weather spell - and it worked

But did it work? Absolutely.Earlier today (July 20) a severe rainfall alert was issued for several parts of the country alongside Gorakhpur, including Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, Meghalaya.Despite temperatures being around the 30C mark all week, constant rain showers are predicted, with a humidity of around 84%.The India Meteorological Department said: “Heavy to very heavy rainfall at a few places with extremely heavy falls at isolated places is very likely.” And as Britain is expected to return to levels of extreme heat on a regular basis, maybe.
