With just two weeks to go before the 2020 presidential election, Fox News Channel has signed chief White House correspondent John Roberts to a multi-year contract extension.
The deal will keep Roberts as the cable news channel's point person in the White House, covering all the activities of the president.
He became the channel's chief White House correspondent in 2017, after serving as its national correspondent, a role he had held since joining Fox in 2011.
Roberts joined Fox News after five years at CNN (where he was co-anchor of American Morning) and 14 years at CBS News, where he was a White House correspondent.
