Nazir, a former interpreter, and Shams, who worked as a communications officer at the British embassy in Kabul for 10 years, said their employment with Western forces has put their relatives' lives in danger from the Taliban.
Both men have been staying at a hotel in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, for more than a month with their wives, children, and hundreds of other families after they were safely evacuated from Kabul at the start of August.
