Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos has revealed the gruesome extent of the freak ankle injury he sustained in Spain's opening Tokyo 2020 clash with Egypt.The 24-year-old was forced to leave the field barefooted with a horrible ball-shaped lump on his left ankle after a nasty challenge from Egypt's Taher Mohamed.
Mohamed escaped without a red card following a VAR check - much to the surprise of Ceballos' team-mate Dani Olmo, who said there was 'no doubt' it deserved a sending off.
