Arsenal flop Carl Jenkinson has looked to restart his career down under after moving to A-League Men's side Newcastle Jets. Jenkinson has already spent time down under with a spell at Melbourne City on loan from Nottingham Forest earlier this year.

The full-back was highly rated during his youth, and he has represented England in every age group and Finland U19s. However, after he ultimately failed to break into the Arsenal side Jenkinson dropped down to the Championship in hope of game time.

And after being loaned out by Forest his contract expired in June, leaving him a free agent. READ MORE: Aaron Ramsdale takes Bernd Leno's number hours after keeper leaves Arsenal for Fulham He said: “I’m happy to be here and to sign for the Jets.
