Last week the game went free as a means to keep players inside in an effort to curb the spread of Coronavirus. It clearly worked, since the game achieved a record high of 180,838 players, 100,000 more than the games concurrent peak.
But that free trial came to an end at the start of the week. However, almost as a response to Boris Johnson's UK lockdown, Sports Interactive have announced an extension to the games free trial.
