Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell (born December 18, 2001) is an American singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Highland Park, Los Angeles, Eilish began singing at a young age. She gained media attention in 2016, when she uploaded the song "Ocean Eyes" on SoundCloud, subsequently released by Darkroom and Interscope Records. "Ocean Eyes" was written and produced by her brother Finneas, with whom she collaborates on music and live shows. Eilish's debut EP, Don't Smile at Me (2017), reached the top 15 in the US, UK, Canada and Australia.

Cynthia Onyedinmanasu Chinasaokwu Erivo (born 8 January 1987) is an English actress, singer, and songwriter.

She is known for her performance as Celie in the Broadway revival of The Color Purple, for which she won the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical, the Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical, the Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, and the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Program, the latter two she shared with the rest of the cast.

Erivo ventured into films in 2018, with roles in the heist film Widows and the thriller Bad Times at the El Royale. In 2019, she portrayed abolitionist Harriet Tubman in the biopic Harriet, for which she earned nominations for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award.

Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins was honoured during the Grammy Awards on Sunday (March 3).Grammys host Trevor Noah introduced a video montage of Taylor performing while the band's song My Hero played.The video led to the In Memoriam segment performed by Ben Platt, Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr.

and Rachel Zegler.Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform at the Grammy but following Trevor's death just over a week ago, the group cancelled their appearance and upcoming tour.The Foo Fighters won three Grammy Awards earlier in the evening, including Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Album and Best Rock Song.Billie Eilish, 20, also took to the stage at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas to perform her hit Happier Than Ever, where she paid tribute to the drummer.She performed alongside her brother Phineas while wearing a black t-shirt featuring an image of Taylor as she performed her hit song.The drummer's death sent shockwaves throughout the music industry.Fans on social media instantly started commenting about how "beautiful" and "emotional" the tributes were.One Twitter user penned: "I just cried for eight minutes straight watching the Taylor Hawkins tribute and the in memoriam Sondheim tribute."Another wrote: "Still tearing up over the Taylor Hawkins tribute."A third added: "Literally bawling over the Taylor Hawkins tribute at the Grammys.
