Floyd Mayweather's unique exhibition clash with Don Moore could reportedly happen as early as next week after their Saturday night bout was postponed amid tragedy.
The 'Money Man' was due to face his former sparring partner in Dubai on a hotel helipad - 700ft above sea level. The intriguing ring had already been set up with around just 20 VIP spectators set to watch, having paid the equivalent of £150,000 for a seat.However, on Friday, came news of the death of 73-year-old UAE President Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed.
Khalifa had been in the role since 2004 onwards, and was reportedly worth around $120million.As a result, the UAE’s ministry of presidential affairs announced a 40-day period of mourning and a three-day suspension of work in all ministries.
Mayweather himself shared a picture of Sheikh Khalifa on Instagram, along with the caption: "Sending my condolences to the entire UAE.
