Floyd Mayweather has warned Jake Paul would get “f***ed up” if he were to compete against Canelo Alvarez. The YouTuber will return to the boxing ring in a high-profile bout with UFC legend Anderson Silva next month.
The 25-year-old has yet to taste defeat in the sport and will endeavour to keep that run going at the Gila River Arena in Phoenix.
One person who is not impressed with Paul’s exploits in boxing so far is Mayweather, who criticised the quality of his opponents.
He has yet to face an opponent with a boxing background and the former WBC Welterweight champion told @TMZ_Sports he is in for a rude awakening should he take on a star with pro boxing experience. “As long as he continues to fight MMA guys and YouTubers, he's gonna continue to look good and shine, but once he fights a real fighter it's not gonna be good,” he said. “He'd get f***ed up by Canelo.
