Two firefighters have been sacked after an investigation into allegedly racist comments left on a crew WhatsApp group. Another two are facing potential disciplinary action as part of the same inquiry.
An investigation was launched following complaints surrounding comments and words used in a messenger group used by crews of one watch at a Greater Manchester station.
