Emergency services rushed to the scene of a crash this evening on a major road in Bolton. The smash is the second of the day on the same road, residents said.
Police and firefighters cordoned off the junction of Crompton Way and Thicketford Road, in the wake of the crash. A spokesperson for the service said: "At approximately 5.20pm on Saturday, November 27, firefighters were called to a road traffic collision on Crompton Way, at the junction with Thicketford Road in Bolton.
