family of a six-year-old girl are suing a theme park after she plunged 110 feet from a ride to her death because she wasn't buckled in.Wongel Estifanos' family filed a wrongful death lawsuit on Wednesday after the incident at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park in Colorado on September 5.A state report said she was sitting on her two seatbelts at the time, and that operator error and lack of training were to blame.The lawsuit accuses the park of "multiple acts that constitute a reckless disregard" and "gross negligence".
It also alleges that there have been two more incidents where ride operators almost started the Haunted Mine Drop without strapping everyone in.One of those incidents, in 2019, was detailed in the report produced by authorities.
