Snow is set to batter the UK once again next month as the country is thrown into another icy plunge. Several different forecasters have said that the white stuff is coming, with some even revealing exactly when and where.

In their long range weather forecast, spanning from January 29 to February 7, the Met Office said: "For the remainder of January, more showery and windy weather is likely to continue in the northwest with possible wintry showers over the higher ground of Scotland, whereas the south and southeast is likely to remain dry."Heading into February, the north-south split of weather is likely to continue in the beginning, while there is an increasing likelihood of more widespread unsettled conditions later."They have also warned of "snow" over high ground in their forecast from February 8 to 22.

Although the Met Office's predictions are fairly vague, advanced weather modelling maps from WX Charts give the exact dates and locations of the coming snow.

On Saturday February 5 and Sunday February 6, a sizeable snow front can be seen moving across the UK from the west. The dumping is too far away to get an accurate prediction for snow on the ground, but snow should fall as far south as London and as far north as the Scottish Highlands.
