Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has sent a touching message to Christian Eriksen after the midfielder collapsed on the pitch during Denmark’s opening match of Euro 2020 against Finland.

Eriksen, 29, is in a stable condition after falling to the ground with no one else around him in the first-half of the match in Copenhagen.

The midfield ace was attended to by paramedics who quickly rushed onto the pitch and could be seen attempting to resuscitate the star.Their quick thinking paid off with Eriksen later pictured sitting up as he was stretchered from the pitch and taken to a local hospital.

Figures from across the world of football have been sending their best wishes to the Inter Milan talisman – including old boss Pochettino.Pochettino.
