Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal was forced to watch on from a wheelchair as Holland booked their place at the 2022 Qatar World Cup with a 2-0 win over Norway.
The Dutchman looked even grumpier than usual as he viewed the match from a box inside the stadium after falling off his bike and injuring his hip on Sunday night.
Van Gaal was unable to take up his usual position in the dugout because it would have taken too long to get him across the grass at half-time and then back again for the start of the second half.
According to Dutch outlet AD, the 70-year-old would have been with his players before the game and at half-time because his box was close to the changing rooms.
