Ex-England boss Terry Venables left one of his Tottenham playing squad 'stunned' by the quality of his singing voice back in 1992 - even being compared to Frank Sinatra.
Teddy Sheringham has discussed his former manager while talking about England's progression at Euro 2020, having played under Venables during their semi-final run in 1996.
Speaking about their first meeting at Spurs back in 1992, the former Manchester United forward discussed a club called Scribes, which was owned by ex-Barcelona boss Venables.He revealed that there would be karaoke on offer to punters during Saturday night events at the club, and that he was invited to attend after the move to north London.
