Ex Dancing On Ice star takes a swipe at the show saying it’s ‘not a bad thing’ she was axed

FORMER Dancing On Ice star Frankie Poultney admitted that it's "not such a bad thing" that she's no longer involved with the ITV series.

The 48-year-old, who starred on DOI from 2006 to 2014, said the show is "a different animal" since its return to screens in 2018.

Although she wasn't invited to join the professional line-up when the show came back to screens, Frankie insisted she is "very lucky" to have been able to enjoy her time on the programme.

Despite being initially disappointed, the skater told Hello! magazine she prefers to focus on her positive memories. Frankie, who is married to former England goalkeeper David Seaman after they met on the show, said: "I was very lucky because I'd just retired as a professional skater. "So to then get another nine years of my career through a show that was at the height of its popularity and everyone loved was extraordinary. "But since it's been back it's a different animal.
