Evil Karen Matthews is set to become a mum again with her fiancé Paul Saunders – using a surrogate. Matthews, who faked her own daughter Shannon’s kidnap, turned to the mystery woman two months ago.

She has now had two positive pregnancy tests. The baby was conceived after convicted paedophile Paul slept with the surrogate with 45-year-old Karen’s blessing.

The baby – which will be biologically Paul’s but raised by both of them – is due in the autumn. A source told the Daily Star: “Karen is over the moon.

She is desperate to have a little baby to raise again. “When they got the call she couldn’t believe it. "But the surrogate did another test just to be on the safe side.” The tot will be Karen’s stepchild.
