Everton supporters forced a cheeky Liverpool fan to remove a flag from their window just yards from Goodison Park ahead of their crunch relegation clash against Brentford on Sunday.Reds and Blues fans might share neighbourhoods across Merseyside, but even the most brainless among them couldn't have seen this ending well.As scores of hopeful Toffees supporters made their way to the ground they noticed a flag in the window of a house with the caption: 'Liverpool marching on Wembley Way' - which had presumably been pinned up for the FA Cup final the day before.Purposefully antagonistic or not, fans began banging on the window demanding that the Liverpool fan inside take it down. After a brief verbal scuffle, the flag came down, much to the amusement of the baying Blues fans who were busy flipping the bird and shouting obscenities."Don’t know how this local thought hanging a Liverpool flag one block from Goodison on Everton’s biggest match of the year was a good idea but after groups of toffees have banged on her window she’s been forced to take it down," one Everton fan wrote in a since-deleted tweet. What's more likely, Everton getting relegated or Liverpool winning the quadruple?
