After the episode, many new outlets misconstructed Mendes’ words and now she is speaking out against them. It all started when the 46-year-old actress put up a birthday post for a friend this weekend and she responded to many comments from fans on the post.
One fan asked why she has been posting less lately and another fan wrote in that thread, “she’s had work done and I don’t think she’s happy with it..she was beautiful without.” To which Eva responded by saying, “I’m posting less because I really want to be present for my family.
